A Northern Michigan community is gearing up for one their biggest weekends of the year.
Wednesday kicks off the 80th Annual National Trout Festival.
The Village of Kalkaska will hold events starting Wednesday all the way until Sunday.
There will be a carnival with plenty of rides and treats for the kids.
There will also be a parade, car show, races and more.
The festival draws people from across the country and even the world.
"It helps out immensely," National Trout Festival co-chairman Deb Mooneyhan said. "It helps out the motels and restaurants and all of it because people are coming and spending the whole weekend."
The village expects the warm weather in the forecast to help bring in tons of visitors.
