Prince Autopsy Completed, Cause of Death Unknown

An autopsy was completed on Friday but his exact cause of death may not be known for days, even weeks.

The local sheriff said on Friday that there’s no reason to believe Prince’s death was a suicide.

Investigators say there were no signs of trauma when they found the 57-year-old unresponsive in an elevator at his Minnesota estate Thursday morning.

Last week, Prince spent time in the hospital after his plane made an emergency landing in Illinois.

Reps say he was fighting off the flu.

The singer, songwriter, arranger and instrumentalist was widely acclaimed as one of the most inventive musicians of his era.

Some of his hits included "Little Red Corvette", "When Doves Cry" and albums "1999" and Purple Rain."
