Adopt a Pet Tuesday: Freya, Belle & Hank
It’s Adopt a Pet Tuesday on Michigan This Morning!
Take a few minutes to check out Freya, Belle and Hank –this week’s adoptable Northern Michigan animals in need of a loving forever home.
Freya is a one-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix. She’s housetrained and up to date on all vaccinations. Freya is looking for a good home that’s willing to take care of a pup with special needs. She was found wandering the streets after being hit by a car. She sustained a severe leg injury in the accident, which required immediate amputation of her front leg. The accident also caused her to lose her hearing. But this sweet girl is just like any other dog –she’s just looking for a loving, patient home. She even gets along with cats, dogs and children. If Freya sounds like a perfect match for you and your family, contact the Antrim County Pet Animal Watch in Acme.
Belle is an 8-year-old Lab Mix. She’s spayed and housebroken –all she needs now is a family that’ll play ball with her! Belle gets along very well with kids and other dogs, but would prefer to find a home with no cats. If you’re interested in learning more about Belle, contact the Cheboygan County Humane Society in Cheboygan.
Hank is a neutered, housetrained 2 1/2-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix. He’s looking for a quiet, stable home to settle down in. If you’d like to learn more about Hank, head to the Little Traverse Bay Humane Society in Harbor Springs.
