International Bridge Authority Announces Canadian Fare Changes

The International Bridge Authority in the Soo is changing fares for some.

Starting April 1^st, the passenger vehicle rate for Canadian money will rise from $4.40 to $4.70 when crossing the bridge in Sault Ste. Marie.

The U.S. fare will remain unchanged at $3.50.

The bridge authority says this is not a rate increase but a currency exchange adjustment.

Exchange rate reviews are done by bridge officials twice a year.
