New Report Shows Michigan High School Graduation Rates Rising
A new report shows Michigan high school graduations rates are rising.
The state released the report Friday morning, stating in the 2014 and 2015 academic year, the rate was just below 80 percent.
There has been steady changes since 2011.
Last school year marked the fourth consecutive year of improvement.
State Superintendent Brian Whiston credits keeping students engaged in learning and quality teachers.
