U.S. Gov’t Gathering Key Information From ISIS Chemical Weapons Specialist

The United States government says it’s getting key information about the Islamic State by interrogating one of its leaders.

The U.S. government says it has secretly interrogated a man believed to be the head of ISIS’ chemical weapons program.

That information has helped the U.S. launch strikes against suspected ISIS chemical weapons targets.

In the past, ISIS has used toxic chemicals in Iraq and Syria, including a blister agent called "sulfur mustard."
