Emergency calls in several Northern Michigan counties will not work Monday night into Tuesday morning.
Frontier Communications has a scheduled 911 outage starting at 11:59 Monday night to 4 Tuesday morning.
The counties affected will be Alpena, Alcona, Arenac, Oscoda, Roscommon, Montmorency, Crawford, Ogemaw, Otsego and Presque Isle.
Incoming 911 calls will still be answered by your counties administrative line.
The scheduled 911 outage is to improve fiber optic cables.
