People living in Michigan’s thumb region say they’re against the idea of putting up more wind turbines.
In Bad Axe there are 328 turbines already and that number may top 500 this year.
Residents told county planners that the quality of life has been taken away and has been replaced with noise pollution, shadow flicker and health issues.
The building and zoning director Jeff Smith says the wind energy ordinance is reasonable and is in place to protect people.
