The new release of Nike Air Jordan shoes forced a mall in the Detroit area to close down twice on Saturday.
It happened at Eastland Center in Harper Woods.
Eastland Center general manager says police shut it down twice for public safety all over the new shoes.
He says people were yelling and shoving in the crowds.
Michigan wasn’t the only state to have issues with the new Air Jordan’s being released.
Two people were shot and wounded in Minnesota waiting in line to buy the sneakers.
