City of Cadillac Approves Sale of 21 Acre Piece of Land

A Northern Michigan city agreed to sell a big piece of land.

The hope is to bring new jobs to town.

The City of Cadillac approved the sale of a 21-acre piece of land in the Potvin Industrial Park at Monday’s meeting.

The land cost around $250,000.

The city says a local packaging and distributing company down the road will use the property.

The next step will be to test the land to make sure it fits company needs.

That company has not yet been named.
