Governor Snyder Expected to Give Early Results of Flint Water Lead Tests

Governor Rick Snyder is expected to give early results from lead tests of Flint’s water at a meeting Monday.

Flint Mayor Karen Weaver is also expected to discuss replacing the lead pipes.

Six democratic members of congress from California, Maryland and Michigan will all be visiting the city to attend the meeting.

Flint’s drinking water became contaminated with lead when the city switched water sources from the Detroit system to the Flint River.
