NMC’s Taste of Success Raises Money for a Good Cause

Students at NMC Great Lakes Culinary Institute showcased their tasty work during Friday night’s Taste of Success.

It was a chance for the community to taste international food and raise money for culinary scholarships.

Money from ticket sales, sponsors and online auctions help lift some of the financial burdens of culinary students.

Past scholarship recipient, Jessica Bredberg, says, “Being able to work as hard as you work to get ready for the event and then you get a scholarship because of it, it’s huge because it’s a payoff, it’s a reward for putting in all the hours leading up to the taste of success.”

Scholarships vary from $1,000 to $5,000.
