A woman accused of driving a getaway car in an attempted armed robbery now faces plenty of new drug charges.
When a Grand Traverse County deputy caught Beth Merchant and arrested her for the first crime, they say the tried to swallow a bag of meth.
Now she’s also charged with having the drug, tampering with evidence and resisting a police officer.
She will be back in court for the additional charges on March 4th.
