One Week Left To File Chesapeake Energy Settlement Claims

An update on the Chesapeake Energy settlement claims in Northern Michigan.

Those impacted have one week to send in your claim form.

Last year, the Oklahoma based energy company agreed to pay $25 million to settle claims in Cheboygan County.

The corporation was accused of trying to keep prices down during an auction for oil and gas leases in 2010.

The more than 700 people who were impacted should have been mailed claim forms.

All of those eligible can file a claim until February 25th.
