Muskegon Heights Shooting Suspect Identified, Has Prior Weapons Convictions

An update on a shooting in Muskegon Heights.

Police say accused shooter, Clarence McCaleb, has had prior weapons convictions.

McCaleb was convicted as an adult for carrying a concealed weapon and drug possession. 

He was also convicted as a juvenile for firing a gun at a vehicle in 2010.

A man and two women were shot Tuesday night outside Muskegon Heights Public School Academy.

Two of those hurt were students.

Police say McCaleb was shot and wounded by a deputy after refusing to drop his gun.
