Oscoda County Family Pleads Guilty to Animal Cruelty

Four people accused of abusing and neglecting fifty dogs admitted to many of the charges against them.

Oscoda County Animal Control and the ASPCA seized dozens of dogs in early December from a puppy mill on east Miller Road near Mio.

Bradford, Pennie, Noralea and Danielle Quick each pleaded guilty to two counts of animal cruelty to more than ten animals.

As a part of the plea deal the16 charges were dropped.

These dogs were part of the dozens deputies say were kept in deplorable conditions for breeding.

The family goes to trial in March.
