A west Michigan sheriff’s sergeant was hurt after a burning tire on a truck exploded in Calhoun County.
Sheriff’s Sergeant Brent Lincoln was responding to a vehicle fire on Thursday afternoon near Marshall.
When he got there the back tires of the tractor trailer were burning.
As he got closer one of the tires exploded.
He was taken to a hospital, treated and released.
