What do you think of Mattel’s decision to diversify Barbie?
Barbie dolls have been arguably one of the most recognizable toys in the world since she hit store shelves in 1959.
Recently – Mattel has decided to give her a makeover – offering dolls in 4 different body types, 7 skin tones, 22 eye colors, and 24 hairstyles.
It’s the most dramatic change the brand has ever made to the popular toy.
The changes come after years of criticism over Barbie’s unrealistic proportions and beauty standards.
