Deadly Snowmobile Crash in Nelson Township

The Kent County Sheriff’s department responded to a deadly snowmobile crash last night near Grand Rapids.

The crash occurred in Nelson Township in Kent County.

Deputies say a man lost control of his snowmobile and crashed.

Alcohol is being considered a factor in the crash.

The man was traveling at high speed with other snowmobilers but they weren’t injured.
