Britax Recalls Thousands of Infant Car Seats
Britax is recalling more than 71,000 infant car seats because the carrying handles can break.
The recall covers the B-safe 35, B-safe 35 Elite, and the B-safe 35 Travel System.
The seats were made from October 1st of 2014 through July 1st of 2015.
Britax says it received 74 complaints about handles cracking or breaking.
They received one report where a child was injured after a handle broke and the seat fell to the ground.
Britax with notify registered owners and ship them a repair kit that includes a carry handle reinforcing bracket, at no cost.
The recall is expected to start Friday.
