Mason County Deputies Arrest Man Accused of Driving Drunk

We can now show you the drunk driver who nearly ran over a Mason County deputy.

At the end of December, deputies arrested a man for driving drunk after he almost hit one of them with his car.

The deputy was responding to a slide off on US 31.

The Mason County sheriff says the deputy had to jump out of the way of Timothy Hansen’s car to avoid getting hit.

That’s when another deputy took off, stopped Hansen and arrested him.

The deputy was not hurt.
