Detroit native and co-founder of the rock group "The Eagles" has died.
A publicist confirmed Glenn Frey died Monday in New York City.
Frey played guitar and keyboard for the band.
He took lead vocal for a few of the band’s songs.
He also saw solo success with his 1982 album No Fun Aloud.
Frey suffered from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia.
Glenn Frey was 67 years old.
