The weather is impacting local restaurants in a surprising way.
in Kalkaska says the roads aren’t scaring off customers.
In fact, it brings even more people into the restaurant.
Owner Christine Duso says they owe their success to their prime location.
“We’re out in the country, we’re just outside of town, we’re near a couple of the snowmobile trails that they can get to they have easy access to they can look at the maps and find us.”
Not only is the snow bringing in locals, but also tourists who are here for the trails and winter activities.
