Michigan Board of Canvassers Approve Recall Language Against Two Senators

A recall effort is moving forward against two Michigan senators, and Northern Michigan roads may be to blame.

Thursday morning the Michigan Board of Canvassers approved recall language against Senate Majority Leader Arlan Meekhof and Senator Wayne Schmidt.

The recall effort is related to their support of raising gas taxes to pay for road projects.

A petition is required before any recall of the two senators can actually appear on the ballot.
