This is a screening of "STREIF – One Hell Of A Ride," hosted by The North Coast Snowsports Club. The screening will be at the Garden Theater in Frankfort, MI.
For 75 years, the annual Hahnenkamm race in Kitzbühel, Austria, has produced unforgettable triumphs and heartrending tragedies, a heritage that is full of myths and legends. Nowhere else is skiing celebrated so intensely. The city, the nation and the entire winter sports world go crazy for the battles that play out on the slopes, and the race down the STREIF is the most anticipated event of all – the Superbowl of skiing. Warm up along the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail during our Sip & Soups event. This SOUPer event is hosted along the trail on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 12:00 to 5:00 pm. Tickets are $20 per person and include a souvenir wine glass. You’ll enjoy yummy soup and wine pairings at wineries along the trail. In addition, $5 for each ticket sold is being donated to the local food banks. 2015 sold out!
