Projects You Pin: Crock-Pot Yogurt

After the holidays, a lot of people commit to cooking at home more and eating out less.

Pinterest is full of projects that can help you improve your skills in the kitchen, including some trickier things, like homemade yogurt.

In today’s Projects You Pin, Kalin Franks and Jake Johnson try their hand at crock-pot yogurt.

Here’s the recipe:

–Ingredients:

½ gallon organic milk

½ cup organic yogurt with live active cultures

1-      Heat your half gallon of milk in a crock-pot on low for 2 hours and 45 minutes

2-      When finished, let the milk cool without touching it for 3 hours

3-      Next take some of the crock-pot milk and mix it in a small bowl with your half cup of yogurt

4-      When all the lumps are out, add that to your crock-pot and stir to combine

5-      Wrap the crock-pot in a large beach towel and leave it to sit for at least 8 hours!
