A fire has destroyed a pole barn next to a home in Clare County.
Fire crews say the barn on Spring Avenue and Mannsiding Road in Freeman Township is a total loss.
The Lincoln Township fire chief says the fire started around 9 p.m. Monday night and the barn was engulfed in flames by the time they got there.
The chief says nobody was in the barn at the time and it took around five hours to put out the flames.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
