A Big Rapids landlord will go to jail for offering lower rent in exchange for sexual favors.
The Big Rapids Police Department started their investigation in July.
The man runs Chapman Housing, which owns 45 rental properties in Big Rapids.
The majority of his renters are college students.
Craig Chapman offered a prospective tenant a lower rate for sexual favors.
He’ll now spend 30 days in jail and a year of probation.
