Democratic Candidate Martin O’Malley Fails To Qualify For Ohio’s Primary Ballot

Democratic presidential candidate Martin O’Malley will not appear on Ohio’s primary ballot.

An Ohio Secretary of State spokesman says O’Malley failed to get the 1,000 valid signatures required to appear on the March 15 primary ballots.

O’Malley’s campaign submitted 1,175 signatures, but only 772 of them were valid.

The former Maryland governor is already running an underdog bid for the Democratic Party nomination against Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.
