Detroit Man Sentenced For Selling Heroin in Grand Traverse County
A downstate man pleaded guilty to drug crimes in Grand Traverse County.
Jamel King will spend at least 18 and as many as 40 years in prison.
He pleaded guilty to one count of delivery and manufacturing more than 50 but less than 499 grams of heroin.
And two counts of delivering and manufacturing less than 50 grams of heroin.
Traverse narcotics team got a tip that King was in Traverse City selling heroin from a local hotel.
They arrested him and two others after undercover officers bought drugs from king in July.
