Paul Ryan Spoke Out About Trump’s Comments
A new poll shows Donald Trump is close to doubling his lead among voters in New Hampshire since September.
He has 32% of the republican vote in that state.
But, the poll was conducted almost entirely before Trump’s comments Monday afternoon, when he called for a ban on allowing Muslims to enter the United States.
The comments drew a lot of criticism from all over the political spectrum, including from top republicans like House Speaker Paul Ryan, who stated that Trump’s proposal is “not what this country stands for.”
Ryan said he normally doesn’t comment on the presidential campaign, but Tuesday, he made an exception.
