Wexford County Christmas Tree Sales See Uptick Following Thanksgiving

The Christmas season is upon us, and now might be the best time to pick up your Christmas tree.

Dutchman Tree Farms in Manton is seeing a big spike in sales today.

They are chopping and wrapping trees.

Their sales increase today, especially as a lot of people are out getting presents to put under that tree on Black Friday.

Workers say buying trees now is the best way to ensure you get the perfect tree.

"It looks like it is going to be a great year," says Chris Maciborski, partner at Dutchman Tree Farms. "Every year when we get to this time of year, we are very excited about the upcoming season. Black Friday is generally about 10-percent of what we sell for the entire season so it is usually pretty busy here."

Dutchman says as long as you put your tree in water, it should last well into January.
