Governor Bobby Jindal Drops Out of 2016 Presidential Race

On the campaign trail, there is one less contender in the race for 2016

Governor Bobby Jindal says he is throwing in the towel.

Jindal entered the race back in June.

But since then, he has been plagued by low polling numbers.

He says he’s not ready to endorse another candidate but intends to support the republican nominee.

While he says it’s not his time, he was grateful for the opportunity.

“I’m honored to have the opportunity to run for president of the United States. My parents came here 45 years ago in search of freedom and opportunity never in a million years did they think I’d be governor much less run for president. This wasn’t our time.”

Jindal says he will go back to working on the think tank he started a few years back.
