Presidential Candidates Discuss Plans to Deal With ISIS

Out on the campaign trail, all of the declared presidential candidates are trying to figure out how to deal with ISIS and the threat of terrorism.

Every candidate agrees that ISIS has to be defeated to keep America safe, but there is plenty of debate on how that can be done.

"At the end of the day, this is a war for the soul of Islam and those Muslim nations are going to have to get their boots on the ground," says Bernie Sanders.

Republican Senator Ted Cruz says, "ISIS has not hidden their intention. The Islamic State, the caliphate has stated their intention to murder Americans."

Obama Administration officials insist no Syrian refugees will come to America without first going through a very thorough screening process from federal agencies, a process that could take up to a year and a half.
