Traverse City Beer Week

It’s a week-long festival of beer tastings, dinners, games and workshops. It’s devoted to local microbreweries, brewpubs and craft beer taprooms. That includes several different locations around the area. Beer Week in Traverse City is going on from Friday, Nov. 13-20. The Week’s schedule and more information can be found .

Festival of Trees

It’s a festival put on by Kalkaska Area Interfaith Resources, or KAIR. The festival is free for visitors and there will be several raffles, including one for a Christmas tree. The money from the raffles and other donations will go toward helping the Kalkaska community. The Festival of Trees is going on from Saturday, Nov. 14-22.

Place-mat Palooza

Another event to help a good cause. At the palooza, attendees can help make place-mats and walker bags to donate. The goods are donated to seniors through the "Meals on Wheels" program. The Palooza is happening Saturday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. at the Traverse City Senior Center.
