Are football players at the University of Missouri taking the right action by sitting out at practice and games? Why or why not?
About 30 black football players at the University of Missouri have joined calls for University President Tim Wolfe to resign. They say he has done little to take action against racism at the overwhelmingly white campus.
The players have joined other student in protesting what they say has been very little response to the open use of racial slurs and other racially charged incidents.
The players say they won’t train or play until the university president is let go.
