Feedback at 5:00: Sending U.S. Troops to Syria

On Friday, the Obama administration announced the decision to send U.S. soldiers into Syria.

The move was made despite promises not to put U.S. troops on the ground in the war-torn nation.

Less than 50 members of U.S. Special Forces will deploy to help coordinate the fight against ISIS.

The White House says this is not a change in policy, and the special-ops teams will work to see how the U.S. can best partner to fight the extremists.

Since 2011, more than 250,000 people have died in the unrest there.

What do you think of the decision to put some U.S. forces on the ground in Syria?

It’s today’s Feedback at 5:00.
