Streets Near Ambassador Bridge Reopen After Debris Concerns
Streets near the Ambassador Bridge that were closed over concerns about falling debris are open again.
The streets were closed on the Windsor, Ontario side of the bridge earlier this month after an inspection of the bridge’s underside.
Safety officials were worried about chunks of concrete falling onto the streets.
Planks were put in place in those trouble spots, but Windsor says there may be additional street closures.
The Ambassador Bridge, which runs from Detroit to Windsor, is 86 years old.
