Lansing Firefighter and State Trooper Honored After Tragic Deaths

Hundreds of people gathered yesterday in a Lansing park to honor a Michigan state trooper and a Lansing firefighter killed in the line of duty.

Firefighter Dennis Rodeman died in September after he was intentionally ran over by a car on Lansing street while collecting money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Trooper Chad Wolf was killed in August after his motorcycle hit a trailer that was being towed. He was trapped under the trailer and dragged for four miles.

Family, friends and colleagues paid $10 for admission to the memorial in Lansing. All proceeds benefitted both men’s families.
