Grand Rapids District Court of Appeals Will Hear Baby Kate Case

A Michigan court of appeals will hear the Baby Kate murder case Tuesday.

The Grand Rapids district court of appeals will hear arguments Tuesday about the case against Sean Phillips.

Katheryn Phillips disappeared from Ludington in 2011.

Sean Phillips was charged with his daughter’s murder, but her body was never found.

The court of appeals will decide if there’s enough evidence against Phillips for the case to move forward.

Earlier this year a judge ruled that the Mason County judge who dismissed a murder charge against Phillips last year can stay on the case.
