Illusionist Visits Mesick Schools For Anti-Bullying Assembly

An illusionist put on a show for students in Mesick Friday, with an important message.

It was part of Mesick School’s Bullying Prevention Program.

Tom Coverly, the illusionist came to the schools and put on assemblies for kindergarten through 12th graders.

Using a combination of comedy and illusions mixed with a positive message, he taught kids to make good choices when it comes to bullying others and what to do if students are being bullied.

The event was organized by several churches in the Mesick area.

It all goes along with the school’s theme of "Becoming a Better Bulldog."
