Events Friday: Cadillac Community Chorus, Becoming an Outdoors Woman, Beach Cleanup

It’s Events Friday on Michigan This Morning.

Here are a few fun things going on if you’re looking for events to check out this weekend.

First, the is having their annual concert.

The chorus is putting on two shows, one on Saturday evening and another Sunday afternoon.

They will feature a lot of different songs– from "Razzle Dazzle" from Chicago to Wagon Wheel by Darius Rucker.

Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

The concert is at the Cadillac High School auditorium.

Next, the DNR is hosting an outing called “.”

Women can work on their fly fishing skills.

It’s a three day event on the Carp River in Mackinac County.

It kicks off Friday at noon and ends on Sunday.

And finally, is hosting a beach cleanup.

It’s on Saturday from 1 to 2 in the afternoon.

Volunteers will meet at the Kelderhouse Farm to help clean the Port Oneida beach.

Entrance fees at the national lakeshore are waived– and you’ll get a coupon for another free one-day entrance to public lands.
