Feedback at 5:00: Appropriate Age to Talk to Kids About Alcohol
There’s a new report from the American Academy of Pediatrics that has a lot of parents talking.
It recommends talking to your children about alcohol at age 9.
The report wants to prevent binge drinking.
The authors claim age 9 is when children start to develop impressions about alcohol.
And already, as many as 50% of high school students drink alcohol. Of those, up to 60% binge drink.
So, we want to know when you think the appropriate age to talk to your kids about alcohol is.
