MTM On The Road: Suttons Bay Floatilla 2015

This Saturday, September 5th you can help make history in the little town of Suttons Bay! This is the third year that Floatilla aims to break the Guinness World Record for largest floating raft of kayaks and canoes. In order to gain the title, the watercraft must total 3,151 while somehow all touching together. From an aerial view, the water vessels makeup a speckled raft of colors that onlookers can enjoy from the Suttons Bay Marina. At 1pm the final count will be tallied and followed up with live music, local food and beverage vendors. But the best part of all? Floatilla is a win-win celebration where proceeds benefit Suttons Bay Public Schools as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Michigan.
