Five Dead In Seven Car Crash In Indiana

In Indiana, state police say five are dead after a seven-vehicle pileup on Interstate 65.

It happened near Lafayette just before midnight.

Troopers say a semi rear-ended another car, causing a chain reaction and starting a fire.

Three killed were in a minivan.

The driver of the semi, who troopers say started the crash also died.

As of this Friday morning, the highway was still closed as police worked to clear the scene and investigate the crash.
