Port Huron-To-Mackinac Sailboat Race Recognized With State Marker
A downstate race to Northern Michigan is making history.
The sailboat race is being marked with a historical marker Friday at the Port Huron Yacht Club where it starts.
The race ends on Mackinac Island.
It has been held since 1925.
This year's race starts on Saturday.
The marker awarded Friday can be seen throughout the state, celebrating history throughout Michigan.
