New Leads On Plane Crash In Afghanistan
In this update, federal investigators know what brought down an overloaded plane in Afghanistan.
Michigan soldiers were on board.
They say a military vehicle broke free, leading to a crash that killed seven crew members in 2013.
All but one were from Michigan.
The National Transportation Safety Board says there was a vehicle on board that wasn't secured properly.
It crashed through the bulkhead and disabled two hydraulic systems.
That made the aircraft uncontrollable.
It crashed just after takeoff.
