Interactive Trail Launches In Mason and Oceana County

A new interactive agricultural trail launched, Tuesday, in Mason and Oceana County.

It includes 18 different spots where visitors can scan QR codes to learn more about what they’re seeing.

The first official stop on the trail is at the Amber Elk Ranch where visitors can get an up close view of the animals.

The Mason County Cultural Economic Task Force spearheaded the trail in hopes of showcasing the area.

“It really brings to focus what’s available in the community and when someone comes, we’ve got a list of brochures and we’ve got digital information that they can lock into>”

The trail will offer visitors the opportunity to not only learn more about the area, but also the goods and services they offer.
