NMC Unanimously Approves Tuition Increase

Students at Northwestern Michigan College will see a hike in tuition next school year.

Monday, NMC trustees unanimously approved increasing tuition for the 2015, 2016, academic year.

Rates for residents will increase by more than five dollars per credit hour.

Out of district students will pay more than ten dollars more per hour.

And out of state students will pay more than fourteen dollars per hour.

Still, the college says their prices are seventy-five percent lower than the average public university’s cost in Michigan.
