SpaceX Founder Opens Competition To Develop New Technology
SpaceX wants to transport people from Los Angeles to San Francisco in just 30 minutes.
And it’s asking for some help in coming up with the concept.
SpaceX’s founder first unveiled the Hyper-Loop in 2013.
Tonight, he’s asking engineering teams and university students to help develop the pods.
They should be able to move at 700 miles an hour.
Participants have until September 15th to apply for the competition.
Teams will meet next January to submit concepts.
